Posted on July 26, 2010 by lowfatdg

I’m 5′2 and 111 pounds and I’m trying to lost 10 pounds. Please no one say not to because I’d be "underweight" Anyway, my diet is as follows…

Breakfast:
Oatmeal or low fat yogurt

Then workout for an hour

Snack fruit

Lunch chicken or tuna salad

dinner : Apple sauce cup.

This has worked so far because I’ve lost 15 pounds.

A 12 year old girl, last summer i lost 10 pounds in a month from eating healthy and lite and slim fast every morning. And guess what? I gained most of it back! Now i am at 179 ish and i am 5′4! Goody me! (at least my weight is distributed evenly:) Here is my plan:

Breakfast 8:00 am: Slim Fast

Snack 10:00: Granola-like bar

Lunch 12:20: Yogurt, pita chips & low fat hummus, apples & cheese, little apple juice box, 2 oreos :)

After school: Slim fast

Dinner: (i eat a really small dinner) Little potato, salad, chicken, corn… yeah

The weekends are pretty weird but i will make good choices similar to the week-day schedule.

I plan to jog the tread mill for 15-20 minutes a day… i also have 30 minute PE in school 3 times a week so…

I am taking the hoodia water pill to and i love it!
Fine then i will just like the frosting out of someone else’s oreo then!

Even though you are not into weight or fat reduction, you should always be aware of the consequences of the types of food that you eat. For the high carbohydrates and low fat diet, it can benefit you ultimately by protecting you from possible signs of cancer. Also, with this kind of diet, you will be able to maintain a healthy blood sugar level; thus, preventing you from chances of developing heart-risked conditions and also diabetes. But for those who prioritize weight loss, eating vegetables which are highly rich in carbohydrates can help you in trimming down you weight, not to mention that intake of fiber-rich foods are also necessary.

However, despite the benefits of high carbohydrate and low fat diet, eating too much carb food like bread and pasta may add up to your calorie diet. It is best of you would just eat moderate amount because too much calorie in the body would result to added weight in just a little period of time. In addition, if your fat intake is very low, you may suffer deficiencies in vitamin content which may result to diseases such as beriberi and others.

Clinical studies have also shown that increased fat diet is a risk factor for developing breast as well as pancreatic cancer.

To avoid these consequences, you have to carefully choose the source of carbohydrates and fats. For example, it is better if you would do not eat too much processed foods and focus on others such as rice, breads, and pasta. This way, your can significantly increase your carbohydrates while lowering your fat content.

Eating fruits and vegetables would not just clean your body system but also help you eradicate unwanted weight and fats. In other words, this kind of plan is generally very ideal in weight loss. However, that is not always the case for all body types. For example, each body kind has its own metabolic function and therefore needs a different form of diet.

If your body is carbo-based, then the food plan discussed above is very much suitable. However, if you are protein-based, adding too many carbohydrates might just increase your body fats.

Instead of carbohydrates, protein type people must increase diet based on protein and fats. If high carbohydrate and low fat diet would be administered to protein type and mixed type people, it is probable that there would be a huge increase in the fats especially if insulin is also given. Also, High carb low fat diet can also disrupt adrenal and thyroid function. In the simplest essence, before taking any type of diet, the body composition and the metabolic rate must first be identified to ensure effectiveness and weight loss as well as to prevent added dysfunctions in the body.

If you notice that exercise seems not enough for you to trim down to your size, you must concentrate on your diet before doing anything else. If you are a carbohydrate body type, then it is time for you to take high carb low fat diet to achieve your desired weight.
