My sister has recently had a slightly higher cholesterol, would this help lower it? Also she is vegetarian
Breakfast choices: 1% milk with cherrios , low fat cream cheese on whole wheat bagel, English muffin breakfast pizza low fat cheese and tomato sauce.
Lunch: Whole wheat veggie sandwich with lite mayonnaise and fat free american cheese, Steamed vegetables with low fat sour cream with a carb control veggie wrap, stir fry noodles subbing the oil with cooking spray.
Dinner: Whole wheat pasta with marinara sauce & mashed potatoes, eggplant pasta & steamed broccoli, fresh lettuce and tomatoe with baked crushed beans low carb tortilla burrito.
snacks : apples & low fat yogurt.
Is this a good plan?

Cholesterol Low Fat Diet

I’m 14 years old and both me and my 12-year-old are gonna abide with this.
This is the plan:
The main idea is to higher my fiber and protein, lean low with cholesterol, lower my use of saturated fat and sodium, and keep a decent amount of FAT in my diet. (The healthy, natural, non-processed kind.)
Okay, so this is the actual deal:
BREAKFAST – have a cup of water with lemon in it and TWO 1-gram-of-fiber-per-pack splendas and two 130-calorie packs of processed oatmeal with ONE pack of splenda.
Then run for approximately 35 minutes.
SNACK – plate of broccoli.
LUNCH – meat with salad…then bike ride for 45 minutes.
SNACK – fruit salad
DINNER – Yoplait low-fat yogurt.
So I wouldn’t eat more than 750 daily calories and the routine would go on for approximately 6 days.
Do you think we can lose about 5-7 pounds with this? Is it healthy?

Low Fat Diet Plan

First off, I’m 21, F, about 5’9 and 145ish. The only meat I eat is seafood, primarily fish. Anyways, i’m planning on eating 1,400 calories a day (I did a few online calculators and got maintenance levels at about 2,400 a day for my activity level and that you shouldn’ t subtract more than 1,000 calories a day from maintenance levels), mainly of veggies, fruits, yogurt, and fish, along with some eggs, cheese, other low-fat dairy, some nuts/seeds, whole grain wraps, fiber plus bars and every now and then either a 100 calorie pack or some sorbet if I’m really craving something. I also drink protein shakes too after I get done lifting weights. So as long as i’m eating these foods, staying around 1,400 calories a day, and exercising (cardio and weights) I should lose weight right? Any experience or tips would be great too! Thanks!
I don’t eat meat other than fish as I’m a pescetarian (vegetarian who eats fish), but I get plenty of protein. And I know I don’t actually need to lose it, but I really want to lower my body fat percentage so my muscles are more defined and "toned" looking. Right now I’m around 20%, but I’d really like to get to about 14-15%. Oh, I already don’t eat white/ processed flour, only whole wheat and whole grains and I very rarely eat chips or other fried foods. Since I don’t eat meat, except fish, I basically never eat fast food, so that’s a non-issue as well.

Low Fat Diet Plan

I am a 31 year old woman weighing 156 pounds. I would like to loose 20 pounds in 3-4 months. Last year my weight was 165. I had worked out and ate well to loose 10 pounds. Later I couldn’t continue the workout routine but kept my diet well so that I didnt increase weight. Now, I want to loose more again with exercise and diet again. I have 2 problems.
1) I am already in a 1400/day calorie program. To get a general idea, my menu is like this,
Breakfast
1slice of wheat multigrain bread+1 egg+1 cup of tea with non fat milk and sugar.
Snack: a fruit or low fat yogurt or a coffee.
Lunch
Grilled chicken with steamed veggies/ I can Tuna with green salad/chicken sandwich.
Snack: Tea and a snack that is around 100 calorie.
Dinner
Fruits, veggies, egg/grilled chicken.
Problem is, I can’t go less than this as I am already in a diet plan.
2) I have arthritic pain on my leg joints, especially knees and ankles. So doing a high intensity cardio for 40 min-1 hour which would help me to loose weight is difficult to do as I can’t exercise even if I want to.
My main problem is my belly fat. I have a lot of it and I really want to get rid off it. I dont smoke or use alcohol and not under any medication. Can anyone suggest me a solution?
