Trying to change our diet… low fat meal ideas? 1
My husband and I are trying to eat VERY healthy… We’ve been eating tons of fruits and vegetables… high fiber, low fat meals… We’ve been working out 6 days a week – and have been on this health kick for about a month, so far, and seeing great results… but I’m running out of ideas of meals to make.. eating plain old fruit and vegetables gets pretty boring… and i feel like I’m about to give into some awful food if I can’t come up with some yummy AND healthy food.
What are some meals that you make that are very low fat.. high fiber and protein? Simple recipes are okay too… I usually love to cook, but not so much when I’m dieting.. lol.
Also — We used to (and now are fighting the urge to) eat when we get bored … what are some things you do to fight the urge to eat out of bordem?
umm.. i’m not eating TONS of fruit.. I just meant eating tons of fruits/vegetables and whole grains in general, rather than processed garbage.
Fruits are actually way harder to eat than vegetables to me… we aren’t big on sweet things.. I gotta force myself to get in my daily fruit.
