There seem to be tons of websites with fad diets like the low carb thing, but I’m having a bit of trouble finding more than the occasional isolated recipe that will support a 3000 calorie diet without an excess of saturated fat. Anyone have a website suggestion that has recipes without an excess of saturated fat and sodium that will work well for an active family that actually eats.

I’m 14 years old and both me and my 12-year-old are gonna abide with this.
This is the plan:
The main idea is to higher my fiber and protein, lean low with cholesterol, lower my use of saturated fat and sodium, and keep a decent amount of FAT in my diet. (The healthy, natural, non-processed kind.)
Okay, so this is the actual deal:
BREAKFAST – have a cup of water with lemon in it and TWO 1-gram-of-fiber-per-pack splendas and two 130-calorie packs of processed oatmeal with ONE pack of splenda.
Then run for approximately 35 minutes.
SNACK – plate of broccoli.
LUNCH – meat with salad…then bike ride for 45 minutes.
SNACK – fruit salad
DINNER – Yoplait low-fat yogurt.
So I wouldn’t eat more than 750 daily calories and the routine would go on for approximately 6 days.
Do you think we can lose about 5-7 pounds with this? Is it healthy?

Are you aware that following the nonsense advice orthodoxy recommends- a very high carbohydrate low fat diet is one of the MOST HEALTH DAMAGING things you could do. You also get NO NUTRIENT ABSORPTION without the healthy saturated fat
