I am starting the HCG diet soon and i wanted to know if i can drink protein shakes while on the diet to replace the protein im supposed to get from the meats listed for the diet. The protein shake i have is only 110 calories and .5g of fat.</p>
<p>I really dont care to know ur opinion about the negatives of dieting and such, i just want a straight answer to my question, nothing more.</p>
<p>If you know any more about the HCG meal plan then please by all means share with me your information, I&#8217;d really appreciate it. Im particularly looking for info about a proper meal plan for the diet that has a meat substitute.  Im great with  fruits and veggies on the list but not the meat. Thanks you guys

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>My 15 yr old cousin was recently diagnosed with high cholesterol and has been eating all the wrong things, her mother still buys the high fat snacks for her siblings, but expects the 15 yr old not to eat them. SHe has been found with junk food stashes and this is getting out of hand, she is afraid to diet because she thinks she has to give up all the foods she loves for &quot;rabbit food&quot;.  If anyone has any ideas or recipes pack with alot of flavor but not alot of fat please pass them along.

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Recently, my fiance decided to try the Alli Program, and bought the little start up kit.  I read the materials, but am still not sold on taking the pills.  I know they work, because a woman I work with has lost almost 50lbs in the last year with the Alli program &amp; exercise.  But the side effects are definitely off-putting.  &#8230;especially the recommendation to buy a panty-liner while your body adjusts to the first week on the diet.  </p>
<p>The meal plans, however, look wonderful.  I need something structured like that because I don&#8217;t have much time these days to plan out meals, and I usually eat on the go.  I understand that these menus are low-fat and low-cal&#8230;so would following the meal plan and exercising help me lose weight?

This is the plan:</p>
<p>The main idea is to higher my fiber and protein, lean low with cholesterol, lower my use of saturated fat and sodium, and keep a decent amount of FAT in my diet. (The healthy, natural, non-processed kind.)</p>
<p>Okay, so this is the actual deal:</p>
<p>BREAKFAST &#8211; have a cup of water with lemon in it and TWO 1-gram-of-fiber-per-pack splendas and two 130-calorie packs of processed oatmeal with ONE pack of splenda.<br />
Then run for approximately 35 minutes.<br />
SNACK &#8211; plate of broccoli.<br />
LUNCH &#8211; meat with salad&#8230;then bike ride for 45 minutes.<br />
SNACK &#8211; fruit salad<br />
DINNER &#8211; Yoplait low-fat yogurt.<br />
So I wouldn&#8217;t eat more than 750 daily calories and the routine would go on for approximately 6 days.</p>
<p>Do you think we can lose about 5-7 pounds with this? Is it healthy?
