Could this diet possibly give me cholesterol problems? 3

8 am : 4 egg whites 1/2 cup oatmeal 2 slcies of wheat toast (no butter, eggs cooked in pam)
11 am: 1 chicken breast (marinated only in garlic and pepper) 1 cup brown rice
1 pm: 1 chicken breast (marinated only in garlic and pepper) 1 cup brown rice
4 pm: 1 chicken breast (marinated only in garlic and pepper) 1 cup brown rice
7 pm: 1 chicken breast (marinated only in garlic and pepper) 1 cup brown rice and a good sized salad with no fat vinagrette

Weight Training (different group of muscles 5 days a week/ abs 3 days a week)
I get cardio from extensive walking on the job (body fat is in the single digits)
post workout: 1 protein shake (made with skim milk, whey protein, yogurt, ice)

10pm: a couple slices of lowfat sandwhich turkey typically before bed

I have been on this diet, while lifting pretty extensively lately. I have lost 10 pounds in 3 weeks but wonder if this could give me cholesterol problems. I know its low fat but chicken and protein have a decent amount of cholesterol. Any thoughts?

I'm trying to lose body fat, is this a good plan? 3

Posted on October 05, 2010 by lowfatdg

Ok my BMI is 21 (in the middle of the perfect range) but I have a bit of body fat for some reason, I am trying to get a flat stomach so I know that means I need to lose overall body fat.

Does this sound like a good (average) daily plan?

Diet – (I’m vegetarian btw)

6:30am Breakfast: 1 glass of skimmed (low fat) milk or a low fat yoghurt
11am Snack: Apple
1pm Lunch: Some grapes and a banana
4pm Snack: An orange
5/6pm Dinner: either – {wholemeal pasta with tomato sauce} {2 wholemeal tortilla wraps with salad* and a little bit of chilli sauce} {2 poached eggs with salad*} {2 small (62 cal) veggie burgers with salad*} {brown rice with brocolli and salad*} {brocolli, sweetcorn, green beans, carrots with low fat vegetable gravy}

*salad = tomatoes, lettuce, cucumber, pepper, red onion

Exercise – 1 mile of jogging (or 2 miles cycling) a day, 20 mins jogging on spot a day, 100 crunches a day

Is this a good way of getting a flatter stomach and losing overall body fat? I know I haven’t got much protein but most vegetarian protein sources or either high fat or high carb.
I’m not coming off the diet. This is my plan forever haha.

Reposting because I didn’t get many answers

One more thing. Is it best to jog before breakfast??

Is this diet plan right???????????????? 3

Hi, Im 16 and am trying to lose overall body fat, I did lose 2 stone before hand but put 1 stone back on. when I was dieting before my stomach fat was going and a six pack was showing which is what I want to do now. What I plan on doing is removing fat from my chest and abs with a low calorie diet and 1 hour a day exercise regime. I plan on doing this until my abs are more visible and my body looks more defined. I then plan on gaining muscle as the fat will be gone and muscle will show better is this plan good?
