Well, I’ve passed 60 recently, my blood pressure went up and then with Lisinopril it was controlled after a few months and is back to 11X over 65-75. However, now my blood sugar is marginal high, about 365 and my cholesterol has gone way up, so the docs have placed me on a low carb, low fat diet. I’m supposed to watch everything, etc, etc. My weight is 193 at 6’1" and I am not lethargis evn though I don’t feel very physically capable anymore. I’ve always eaten and drunk anything and everything, so I am finding it hard to make adjustments. They said I could have snacks other than the 3 75gr carb meals per day if the snacks were both low carb and low fat. I thought this would be easy but I am finding it impossible to find or imagine such snacks. Can anyone who is a dieting buff help me with this?
